Dry stone walling is one of the oldest of countryside crafts, dating back to pre-history.
These attractive structures form one of the most striking features of a rural landscape, whether on upland pastures, fell or moorland.

Alan has over several years, honed his craft of building dry stone walls to the stage that all types of walling work are considered, be it the garden border, a bridge constructed of dry stone wall, up to contracts on a large commercial scale.

In addition, he has extensive experience in the running of structured Dry Stone Wall Training Courses, to not only appeal to those interested in the physical career of taking on Dry Stone Walling, but also those looking for a potential extra hobby.
